Lisa is a fully accredited True Colors® facilitator. True Colors® provides a model for identifying personality styles by grouping common attributes into four colours – blue, orange, green and gold. This simple model of understanding behaviour patterns at work, at home, at school, in relationships, in stressful situations, and at play helps individuals develop a deeper understanding of who they are and how they relate to the world.

The True Colors® program is based upon the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, as refined by David Keirsey, who classified personality and/or temperament into four types. True Colors® has translated this theory into simple and practically applied information.

Not only meeting the criteria for SEAL programmes, as set out by the government, it takes the development of emotional literacy further by enabling children to understand why they experience the emotions they do. In this way they learn to manage emotions as well as express them.

In addition to increasing self esteem, self belief and the ability to work with others it is also being used very effectively as a resource to overcome specific issues such as truancy, bullying and drug abuse.
